Cookie statement
Which cookies Noirnights.nl uses: essential ones, and statistics only if you choose them.
This is an English translation for your convenience. The Dutch version is legally binding; in case of any difference, the Dutch text prevails.
1. The essentials
By default, Noirnights.nl only sets essential cookies. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no profiling. On a site like this in particular, your visit should stay private: we do not link what you view here to you as a person.
Only if you choose to do we use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used. You are offered that choice on your first visit, right after the age gate, with two equal buttons. If you choose "Essential only", or choose nothing, Google Tag Manager is not even loaded and nothing is sent to Google. You can always change your choice via Cookie settings, at the bottom of every page.
2. Which cookies we set

3. Statistics without cookies
We want to know which pages are visited, but not who visits them. That is why we only count daily totals on our own server: how many times a page was viewed, via what kind of referral (search engine, direct) and on what kind of device (mobile or desktop). No cookie is set for this, no IP address is stored and no visitor is followed, not even across several pages.
4. Third parties
We load fonts via Google Fonts; in doing so Google sees the IP address of your device, but no cookies are set.
If you consent to statistics, we load Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics from Google Ireland Limited. Google may also process that data in the United States. Without your consent we load neither. Apart from that, our pages do not load content from third parties.
5. Deleting cookies
You can always withdraw your consent for statistics via Cookie settings; we then immediately delete the Google Analytics cookies. You can also always delete or block cookies via your browser settings. Without the essential cookies, logging in does not work and the age gate asks for confirmation again.
